New for 2012

Sunday Easy Listening Lunches.  Enjoy Sunday dinner whilst listening to the same quality, and calibre, music as our Wednesday night concerts.  Our Sunday lunch music will feature world class artists backed by Roan Kearsey-Lawson on Vibes, plus his rota of house musicians and will always include a singer.   The first 2012 Sunday dinner will be on 26th February.  2012 will also feature two more Sunday lunches, one in May and the other in September.  Have a break from making Sunday dinner and come along!

TV appearances & Raffle Prizes

Popular raffle prize provider 'Kent Fine Foods' has won Best Product of the year award. Club host Matthew Kearsey-Lawson has also made programmes for TV recently.  Ade in Britain on ITV1 (Fri 2nd Dec 2011) features Matthew from Kent Fine Foods cooking, plus on BBC1 with James Wong in 2012.  Kent Fine Foods, with their shop and kitchen at Elm Court Village behind Wyevale Garden centre open on Saturdays, is now an award winning company.  That's Nice products available from the shop.  Shop is open on Saturday's 10am till 6pm.  Ring Kent Fine Foods 01634 233270 for opening times during the week.

Maritime Jazz Festival 2011 gets great reviews

After the success of MJF 2010 the 144Club was again behind Kent's 2011 premier jazz festival.  It hosted 4 Days of great music in the glorious surroundings of Dickens World Britannia Theatre and at other venues from 22nd to 25th Sept 2011.  The papers reviewed it as 'more of a show than a gig'.  Customers came out beaming!
